Since 1 January 2023, inheritance law in Switzerland has changed. It gives testators more freedom.
The aim of the reform is to reduce, or even eliminate, hereditary reserves, i.e. the part of the inheritance that is legally reserved and cannot be allocated to a third party or an organisation. What are the practical changes?
