Piguet Galland is pleased to announce its partnership with Téléverbier and will become the exclusive sponsor of the future Esserts–Savoleyres Telemix line. This new lift will be named the Piguet Galland Line.
This five-year partnership is built on shared values: excellence, innovation, and a commitment to high-quality tourism in keeping with Verbier’s spirit. It reflects a shared ambition to contribute to the sustainable and harmonious development of the region.
A partnership formalised at Verbier
On 14 April, Michèle Luyet, COO of Piguet Galland, Selman Bicaco, Head of Private Banking and Wealth Management at Piguet Galland, and Laurent Vaucher, CEO of Téléverbier, officially launched the collaboration during a ceremony marking the beginning of this new chapter.
Selman Bicaco, Head of Private Banking and Wealth Management at Banque Piguet Galland, stated:
“This partnership with Téléverbier reflects our commitment to long-term, high-impact projects for Switzerland, and for French-speaking regions in particular. Through our support for the Piguet Galland Line, we reaffirm our deep connection to Verbier and its distinctive way of life, which blends elegance, innovation and environmental respect.”
The Piguet Galland Line: designed for comfort and accessibility
The result of in-depth thinking around mountain mobility, the Piguet Galland Line will feature:
-
10-seater cabins, ensuring a smooth journey from Esserts (1,700 m) to the top of Savoleyres (2,200 m)
-
6-seater chairs, connecting the mid-station at Les Planards to the upper station at Savoleyres
-
Three separate stations, designed to improve access for people with reduced mobility, families with pushchairs, and cyclists during the summer season
Far more than a simple infrastructure upgrade, this new installation will significantly enhance the customer experience – in both winter and summer. It will offer faster, more comfortable and ski-in/ski-out access between Verbier and La Tzoumaz.
A two-phase rollout
The Les Planards–Savoleyres section will open in time for the 2025–2026 winter season. The full installation will be fully operational in 2026, marking a new era for lovers of winter sports and outdoor activities.
Téléverbier and Piguet Galland are proud to join forces to make the Piguet Galland Line a symbol of modernity, mobility, and local commitment.
